Fifth grade teachers will be responsible for paying the shipping cost ($9) to ship the boxes. We also print a tracking label to see where our boxes travel. This is a great experience and a wonderful opportunity! Please be sure to send the item(s) needed by November 15th. For more information about this organization check out the following website:

Important Parent Information Operation Christmas Child – Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan Purse) is an organization that 5th grade is participating in. Students have been, or will be assigned a new and inexpensive item that will be packed in shoeboxes and delivered to children in need around the world. Fifth grade teachers will be responsible for paying the shipping cost ($9) to ship the boxes. We also print a tracking label to see where our boxes travel. This is a great experience and a wonderful opportunity! Please be sure to send the item(s) needed by November 15th. For more information about this organization check out the following website:
https://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/
Math Multiplication Tables-Please encourage and study with your child multiplication facts. Your child needs to know their multiplication facts through twelve. Daily drills (flashcards) or internet games such as www.multiplication.com is an easy way to learn. Fifth-grade math is very difficult without being able to recall basic facts fluently.
